Hey look what I finally did. I finally made a digital reference sheet! WHOO! And I didn't shade it because I was too tired and I didn't really think I should do it on a reference sheet. Yay for flat colors.

Likes: Sewing, buttons, creating things for people, nighttime, her family.

Dislikes: Ponies who throw her away, main streets, rain, ponies who can't make up their minds, rock music or heavy metal.

Fears: Scissors, fire, ponies not liking what she made for them, destructive foals, fillies, or colts, dogs, cats, garbage cans.

Personality: Silver Needle, while she was living, was a friendly pony who loved to give others gifts. She loves to meet new people and was quite expressive. She wasn't very talkative, but she did enjoy talking to other. Silver was stubborn and a night owl, often staying up late to finish projects. When working on a project, she keeps at it and never quits until she is finished. Silver had a bit of a short temper and liked to bother friends and family at times, but she loves them with all her heart and wouldn't give them up for anything.

After death, however, her personality changed. She became more skittish, due to some trying to dispose of her, or destroy her. She no longer was very expressive, especially since she was no longer able to make many expressions. Silver rarely spoke, though still somewhat friendly if she did. Silver still stayed stubborn and became more nocturnal, resting during the day and staying up through the night. Silver does hope to be friends with someone one day.

Backstory: Silver was born into a small town in rural Equestria. Her family only consisted of her mother and father, but she got a baby sister a couple years after. Silver often would play with the other kids in the town when she was out of school, and would sometimes make a little gift for the ponies in her life. She would collect objects she found and put them together to create a little object before giving it to the other pony, being extremely happy when the other loved the gift.

Silver didn't have many problems in school, no one bullied her, and she often got good grades. After school each day, she would study and finish all homework, before playing with her friends. She was determined to get good grades in school.

Silver was closer to her mother and her younger sister. Her father was often traveling to sell some of the products that Silver's mother made. Silver's mother was talented in sewing and often made products to sell in town, and to give to her husband to sell other places. Silver and her sister loved to learn about sewing and would sit with their mother late at night. When she would put them to bed, she would read them stories, and this was a time Silver and her sister enjoyed greatly.

At one point, Silver's sister got her cutie mark after she embroidered a picture for her father. Silver still had not gotten hers and was a little upset by this. She began trying to discover what she was good at, trying many things. One day, she had an idea to make a doll, and she decided to make it look like her. She hunted for fabric matching her coat, yarn matching her hair, and found two large, green buttons to use as eyes. She began the project, spending hours on it. When she finally finished it, it was the same size as her at the time, and looked quite like her. She ran to show her mother, and excitedly presented the life-sized doll. Her mother praised her work, before noticing the filly had gotten her cutie mark. She told Silver, who was absolutely overjoyed.

Silver Needle continued through her life, now knowing her talent. She began to see dolls for others, though she didn't make them life sized as often. However, over the years, she grew better and better at making dolls that looked like the pony. She and her sister both finished school, and moved out. Silver's sister moved away to a larger town with her boyfriend and Silver moved across their ever-expanding home town. She started up a shop, sewing lifelike dolls for ponies. Her shop rose in popularity, and soon, people began to spread the word of her shop outside of the town. More and more ponies came to the shop from further away and the business was flourishing. She began to offer lifelike dolls of other species as they began to come to her shop. She loved doing this, many people were happy with the dolls she made them.

However, everything isn't without downsides. One night, while sleep deprived due to the project she was working on, she accidentally left a few flammable objects near the wood stove in the basement of the shop. The objects caught on fire and a some stray sparks landed on the woods beams. Silver had gone back upstairs before this had happened, and did not realize she had left the objects there. Though she was exhausted, she pushed herself a little more to get as much as possible done on the project.

She woke up to extreme heat and the sound of a fire crackling. Jolting up, she saw flames roaring around her. She looked for an escape but found none, and was trapped in the inferno.

The town fire department was called in and they extinguished the fire. Most of the house was damaged and Silver was found in the room she had been working in. She was not alive.

Silver's ghost floated through town. She was confused and upset, and had no clue what to do. Floating around town, she saw people who were sad to hear the doll maker was dead. She saw her mother and father grieving and a few days later, her sister came to the town with her boyfriend. Silver's sister was greatly upset by what happened. Silver watched the funeral and watched them for weeks, as she herself got more and more depressed.

One day, as Silver watched them, she saw her mother with the first doll she had ever sewn. Her mother was patching up a few holes in the doll. Silver had the idea to try to posses the doll. Maybe she could speak to her mother again. As her mother was putting the fabric away, Silver flew into the doll, possessing it. It was a bit weird at first, being a doll and all, but she quickly said called out to her mother, who screamed and ran out of the room. Silver didn't think about the fact that a talking doll fact would scare ponies, and the glimpse of hope faded.

Silver Needle left the house, still possessing the doll. It was a bit difficult to move at first but she made her way out of their. She quickly entered the forest behind her family house and hid. She had no idea where to go but deciding on waiting out the evening until the cover of night came. Then she headed into town and found an alleyway to live in temporarily. It had empty boxes in it, so she hid under those.

Silver now resides on the streets. She looks for someone who wouldn't mind taking her in, despite being a creepy, possessed doll. She has tried many times, but runs away soon after due to something destructive being there. She tried to make friends with the few that she was with long enough, but they got scared and either threw her away, or tried to burn her, leading to her escaping. Silver keeps trying, hoping one day, someone will not be scared off by her and will still like her no matter what.

Extra info: The reason that the doll is without a horn, is because when she was made, the horn wasn't sewn on very well. During a stay at a pony's household, the dog got a hold of her and ripped the horn off before she was taken away by the owner.
