Description
Since there's no way this design could function with actual bullets, I decided to pass it off as a sort of near-future stun gun.

Basically, this fires electrically charged bursts of plasma. When it hits you, it temporarily paralyzes you, and can also knock you out for several minutes. You also get some wonderfully fun burns. Yay!

Of course, like a stun-gun, this is a less-lethal weapon. Not non-lethal. People with heart issues are much more likely to go into cardiac arrest when shot; and if you have a pacemaker, you're screwed. It also has severe effects on epileptics, the elderly, and young people.

Protip: If you're not healthy, don't go to a riot.
