Chiapa rhino in .357, a pin fired revolver firing from the bottom of the cylinder made this pistol a possibility sometime in 2011-2012.

It IS a real gun.
It's called the mataba model 6 unica autorevolver , vash's is just a break action with an ejection system.
They aren't in production anymore i think but i know they made ones that chambered the 45 long.
Im saving my money up and getting one custom made.
It is a gun i've wanted since i first saw trigun when i was like 8.

Actually, there exists a very close copy to this revolver online.. Its limited to 50 pieces and costs about 500 dollars, made out of stainless steel and rubber and is most likely the most realistic prop gun iΒ΄ve ever seen.
Double action mechanisim works like in any other prop of Vash`s gun, but the hammer doesnΒ΄t reach to the bullets.
The bullets can be removed (Fullsteel props of the .45 LC) and the cylinder can be spun.
Now if one would drill a hole through the wall that seperates the barrel and the cylinder, then modify the hammer alittle... then you`d have the real gun.
By the way, a bit of extra information: The gun`s name is Colt Eagle, as it says on the barrel weight/Angel Arm Coverplate.

That might work, but the gun would probably explode the first time it was fired. I seriously doubt that the prop was built to the safety standards of a real firearm.
And another issue: a top-break design is weaker than a side break. Even a real version made by a professional gunsmith wouldn't be able to withstand the force of firing a powerful cartridge for very long.

Probably not with regular steel... also the locking system would need to be of good quality. But, seeing that with proper materials something as strong as the Pfeifer Zeliska can be done, chances are if its made to be a fireing version you could make one.
Who knows with the prop.. it seemed pretty massive but i dunno how the drum is fixed or how massive the lock is. Maybe itΒ΄ll just blow the drum out.

+ i've been looking for how to draw that revolver 4 ever with the top break configuration, i couldn't get the mechanizm right (btw i think it is rl, cuz i saw a guy on a shooting range with1, but it might have been a viper .44)

No, this gun definitely does not exist in real life. The six'oclock barrel position is very uncommon, limited to just the Mateba Autorevolver and few other designs. A top-break mechanism is also quite rare, and is plagued by stability and strength issues that limit it to relatively small cartridges. That being said, this gun could technologically exist, but no one's made it yet.

weeeeelll, all i know is a saw a guy at the shoot and trade a couple of months ago with a square revolver that he reloaded the same way this 1 does~~ I said itculd have been custom or a viper 44.

I don't know if you mean in real life or a 3d model. I'm starting to get good with Google SketchUp, so a 3d version will be coming soon.
But a real prop? I intended to make one for Acen, but I ran out of time. Next year I'll try to make an articulate one that opens up. Such would be completely deserving of awesomeness cookies. XD

Ohh, I see now. Well, I could actually animate it. You know, rotate the front several different times at various angles, and smash all the images together in Animagic.
