Description
This particular weapon wasn't developed by humans, but by the mighty Arik'tar Imperium. The Tari race is insectoid, on average taller but quite thinner than people, and there bodies are incredibly strong to the point of being able to withstand vaccuum for small peroids of time.

Their "Hornet Interceptor" (dubbed by human scientists wondering what the hell to call it) is capable of such extreme acceleration and velocities, that any human attempting to pilot it at maximum performance would be crushed and battered to the point of death within seconds.

Only the Arik'tar can withstand the awesome maneuvering power of this machine.

None of it's amazing capabilties would be possible without the Tari's pinnacle of propulsion technology: the vaccuum-energy field manipulator. Working on similar concepts as terran Scalar power systems, this pseudo-engine maneuvers their ships within the vaccuum-energy field that exists everywhere in the universe. It can move in every dimension equally fast (imagine turning and strafing as fast as you're flying), and as such can fly circles aroung the lightest Teran UAV.

The inteceptor is armed with four low power and fast firing laser cannons, and a single particle cannon that can shred a Terran bomber with a few well-placed shots.
