Description
Visit www.macroandcheese.com for videos and articles on how I captured my photos and other techniques that could help you improve your craft!I found this little guy on my Nature Center walk today resting on a plant. After introducing my hand next to him, he freely climbed aboard and began to get comfortable. He stopped at the top of my finger and for a few seconds before crawling around the rest of my hand. It was the first time a lizard had ever crawled on me so it was a fun experience! Grow up big and strong little guy! =]

Oh wow that's so awesome!! I can't believe the lizard freely trusted you! And I guess you had to take the picture with your free hand? Incredible!

I was in florida last year and I grabbed a bit of spanish moss and I found an anole like this one inside. He also crawled on my hand and then fell asleep. It was adorable! He was not a young one though, like this little guy. This guy's a cutie! ^_^
Anyway, your photo reminded me of my experience. It's a great photo, thank you for sharing it!

What a neat photo. Such a tiny guy! And it's obvious he's been shedding. What I really like is that your focus is really on his eye. Congrats on the DD!

Thanks a lot! It was difficult getting this shot as all my camera gear was pretty heavy. I'm glad I got the focus on the eye! =]

Your question made me wonder as well so I did a Google search. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything smaller than the one I had on my finger on this photo. This really cant be too far off from a newborn.
Thank you for your comment =]

How cute! It's so tiny in scale comparison with your finger. What kind of lizard was it?

I want to say it's a Carolina anolea baby as they're very common here in the Houston area, but I'm really not 100% sure.
Thank you for viewing my photo! =]

Yup, it's an Anolis carolinensis, or a green anole like americans call them.
Nice shot !
