Description
There are several of these little guys all around my home outside. They scale my house and just roam around looking for food every day. While I have managed to catch moments where they eat prey, I never can quite get it on camera as they're so fast to run away and hide with it. In this picture in particular, he stood still just long enough to capture this moment. He's about the size of a dime.Seasons Contest

It was pretty tiny. In the description I mentioned it was about as long as a dime, but realistically it was probably a tad bit smaller than that.
Thanks a lot for the feed back =]

It belongs to the Genus Menemerus. I once was fascinated by their speed (considering that jumping spiders rather jump than run). I believe that is the same with this ([link] species.

Looks pretty darn similar..but also bigger. Hard to tell with nothing to compare it to around it. Thank you!

It may be a jumping spider, but I could also be wrong.

Beautiful shot.
I really do respect spiders, but I can't seem to get over my fear of them. Must be all the legs. Looking at videos and pictures doesn't bother me, just in reality when in my house.

Well...I've heard that we, humans, learned through the course of history to jump or react quickly to things that scuttle...for our protection I think. Not how accurate..heard it from Gears of War
