Oh, I didn't mean to frighten you prematurely...

Halloween is nearing, and I was paying far too much attention as I listened to the soundtrack of Disneyland's Haunted Mansion. This picture is of 'your Ghost Host' on his 'way out.' I talked to Schoen and my mom, and we agreed that there are two schools of thought: either the Ghost Host killed himself to get himself out (my favorite version,) or in order to let you out, the Ghost Host can kill you (probably the intended version, but like I'd pay attention to that.) I'm still bothering to think why the Ghost Host would have killed himself, as his voice sounds so confident, but there could be a million reasons, and I'm sure I'll find a good one eventually.

As can be seen, his coat is dark green, as anyone who's been to Disneyland would know. I think that the men who guard that ride wear their coats open with black waistcoats, but in order to explain my way out of this, the Ghost Host was obviously not you average Joe, and would wear something different than everyone else (he'd be like a butler or a maitre d' ).

I am insanely proud of myself for this. Not only did I draw something worthy of being in the 'macabre and horror' category, but I wrote something in snazzy legible writing and I colored in what I consider to be an amazing way. I think I'm going to color like this every time now, as it works really well. Scans better, too, I've noticed. I may tweak it a bit, but I really like coloring like this.

My signature is in there, but it ended up in the middle of his shadow, so it's a little hard to see.

The Ghost Host, the text, and the Huanted Mansion belong to Disney and Disneyland, but as they never showed what he looked like at all, I think I'm pretty safe drawing this and calling it mine. XD
