Corin, my reformed antagonist character for the MMX universe. Once a killer, now a bodyguard for a Catholic priest/Reploid rights activist.
I am kind of...not good at armor, and I'm not happy with this, but I'm working on another piece of the same character already and hoping for better results.

For as long as I live, I don't know that I will ever be able to reconcile how unhappy you are with your stabs at armor and machinery with how enamored of them I am. XD Β Like, even the circuit-board background here works for me, nicely emphasizing the character's pose and personality. Β And the armor itself is just SO cool; sharp, and sleek, and shiny. Β Lotta good texturing going on all over this one, in fact. Β And I dig the posing a lot too; there's a nice, nuanced caution to it, an alertness that feels guarded but ready to spring. Β
Plus, hey, it's just plain old nice to see Corin again. <3

Interesting. He does look like a holy paladin here with that armor. I don't know, I think it looks good. Megaman style armor isn't really boxy like a generic robot series. I think it helps drive home the human look of the characters.

Who IS good at armor?! Well, who actually thinks they are, anyways? I think it looks awesome, very nice and metallic with a Crusades sort of vibe coming from all of those crosses.
And that is a cool dude right there. You don't see many male unicorns.
