Commissioned offsite. The commissioner asked for Ultros as the Phantom of the Opera, I threw Celes in there for funsies. 8D She can be Christine. She is unimpressed.

inside my mind....
So anyway, this is kind of SUPER ADORABLE AWESOME. You just put so much character into this pic, make so many good choices; throwing the unimpressed Celes in there is just plain brilliant, and her flat expression is beyond hilarious, especially in contrast to Ultros' seeming glee. I likewise dig the way you change up Ultros' eye when it's under the mask, it's a really cool effect that works well and helps sell the Phantom idea. And of course, your colors and textures are great; I'm especially fond of the contrast between the mask's pristine gleam and Ultros' grubby, spotted, slimy skin. ^_^

This...tentacle beast here pops up at various points during the game to fight your party. He's sort of comic relief. At one point there's an opera and he tries to sabotage it.

I know Ultros has appeared in many games by now, but I dunno if he's ever been given a speaking role! Scary thought if he could actually sing. Wouldn't help his ego.
