Somewhat inspired by a Castlevania beastie in Symphony of the Night. I will use this design for RP and for my own personal stuff. 8D
coulda spent more time on the wings but I'm behind on my art obligations. ;_; Gotta get to work.

The hooves were inspired from the original game enemy named LEsser Demon, the open rib cage is from a different enemy in the same game. I LOVE playing Frankenstein!

Lololol I like the last sentence of your artist comment XD I wasn't gonna be mean anyway! *crosses arms* The ribcage part came out with a seriously cool effect in my opinion. And those colors do a great job of contrasting each other in only the most epic of ways. I also love how the back legs are set up joint wise for some reason XD Just strikes me as neat I guess. I like this picture and its fancy dancy background C| Brushes or not, you still were able to put them together in a cool way and you get credit for that, at least from me.

Ooh, scary and pretty at the same time. I like the glowing green bits against the black body... never played Castlevania all that much, but his miioght make me want to look into its older games to see the inspiration demon.

I've never played Metroid. But I did just start playing the DS Portrait of Ruin for Castlevania, and I must say so far it is pretty fun.

Indeed, I could just lose myself all freaking day admiring the many lovingly-rendered detail of this demonic, dragonic wonder. The way you mix in both reptilian (tail, spinal spikes, foreleg claws) and equestrian (muzzle, hind-leg hooves) details deftly into the overall design, or how you mix in both a flame-like energy AND a heated white/green color to create the effect of the demonic energy swirling around its key parts, the way the rib cage reveals its living, throbbing core, the wild and imposing composition of the many arcane circles in the background...you weave such powerful mood around a strong design in this picture. I
