Mavericks exist because Reploids exist. Reploids exist because X exists. All the bloodshed and tears and suffering and death can all be, in a way, traced back to the fact that he was made...and X is very, very aware of that, even as he struggles to fix things.
Not great work but Nikki-Nicole-P is right, if I keep making stuff and not posting it because I'm not happy with it, I'll never post again. 8D;

Mavericks were around before Sigma. Sigma actually went Maverick on his own, if I'm not mistaken. And Mavericks wouldn't exist at all if Reploids didn't exist. Being traced back to X.

LOVE the symbolism behind this image. The darkness adds a feeling of direness, the pit of despair and regret he feels.
The dulled colours, with the tears and blood being much bolder really emphasis that struggling feeling he is going through.

I only ever owned/played one of the X games, and that was Megaman X 4.

Oh yeah. I had fun. Fun only getting through the first stage.
I think I was able to beat the spider guy, and I came real close to beating the walrus guy, and I found the secret in the jungle for the light shoes, but everything else kicked my ass.
Though I was only, maybe 10, at the time? My tolerance for failure back then was pretty low. I have yet to play it again. I don't even remember where I put it...

And of course without the original Megaman, X would never have been created. It becomes a depressing chain of events if examined too closely.
But sadly from what I know of X's character he seems the type who likes to take the weight of the world on his shoulders.
I like this though. It's a moving piece in my opinion.
