Description
There's a yellow flower,in a sea of black.
The smell of spice,
and night-dark windows.
Copper or bronze or
fields of grain,
melodious
the nightingale
radiant
the sun
the warmth of the wind around me,
earthy and ancient and
new
Thy beacon doth shine,
and mine heart yearns,
a god doth guide me,
unto a spell that binds and
burns.

I like it, though I wish I could be more writer-commenty-like, with all those nice pointing out the good parts things.
But I can say it makes me want to draw a picture of it. x3

Beautiful! It reminds me of Arabia, for some reason. I love the imagery, it gives of a very nighttime-y feel. Great job! I liked the "bob and wheel" approach, too. ^_^

It did have sort of a mid-east feel to it, actually. Spices, and such. Thanks! I wasn't sure if the "bob and wheel" dealy would work, but glad it did.
