Description Now it's over and done,
but, boy, it was fun,
sure had some good times,
I'll remember the rhymes.

Things like this fade,
though some feelings have stayed.
But we must move along,
find a different song.

And I'm sorry if I hurt you,
but at least I was true.
Sorry that it had to end,
but we were better as friends.

I like this a lot. Extremely simplistic, but still manages to leave you with a story thats so much longer, if that makes any sense. And I like how the title matches the poem itself, it just flows and threads together so seamlessly that its...well...over and done.

Sucky? Amazing! I like this poem, it tells a story of sorts. I, as a big fan of romantic poetry, find this relatible (sic). It reminds me of one of my poems, actually. "Eve Was Framed" or "Lackadaisical Letter", maybe. Maybe it's just my ego inflating. Maybe it's just because you're awesome! Either way, I love this poem. Great job, I like the imagery and wording, and meter. Keep up the good work!

The same could be said for you, m'dear. I pride myself more as a novelist/short story writer, but reading your poems inspires me to write my own.

I think the problem with DeviantART's writers is that they don't dig deep enough into their inner selves, and try hard enough to find things they really know about. They just write whatever comes to their heads.

Yeah----people don't appreciate good writing and good writers like they should. So many mediocre writers ruin the trade for the rest of us dedicated wordsmiths. It's a real pity.
