Description
I stand on a road divided,which path to take, I'm undecided.
I stand in a world with so many ways,
With changing minds and changing days.
I stand alone and I stand forsaken,
After every twist and turn that e'er I've taken.
I stand strong and I stand upright,
Knowing truely that I walk towards the light.
I stand before you bent and broken,
The wounds I bleed are bleeding open
What I've done right and what I've done wrong,
I can hardly rememnber, it's been so long.
I stand at the top, at the very peak,
I am the strongest, and I scorn all the weak.
I have won every battle and ne'er been lost,
I have earned all the money and paid all the cost.
I am the fifth, and I am the last,
I am the future, and I am the past.
I am tomorrow, and I am today,
I am timeless, and I will always stay.

I absolutely love it! I don't normally go for aabb rhyme schemes, but you make it work, and I love the way you've devided the stanzas into describing different type of people in the world. keep it up.

Yeah, I think I often do abab, or a more abstract rhyme, or even open, but this just seemed to work better. I mean---divided and decided just worked so well, I thought, in the beginning, so I went with it. Glad you like it!
