what floored me is this: Halo 2 actually looks like this. I heard from a number of reliable sources that halo 2 is actually coming to PC 2 months following the xbox release. the Halo 2 engine rendered this at 1600x1200, one of a number of screens available from bungie.net . I showed a couple to die-hard fans of half-life and doom and quake that think Halo is a passing fad, a black sheep of the gaming industry. They don't want to believe it... I hope they can pull their heads out of their asses long enough to give it a try at a lan party or two. thanks bungie
.P.S. I'll bill Microsoft for some new underwear.

Halo 2 is gonna rock so hard. I still play the first one alot. Great stuff and passing fad? It's way better than half life, and i hate quake.

w00t! I still play the original on xbox all the day, and the PC version as much as i can, even though Gearbox shanked it with a Denny's spoon. Halo 2 is gonna blow everything else away, no exceptions. If this is a representation of the in-game graphics, then we have nothing to worry about. I guess that's why it won best online gameplay at E3 (and best graphics? i'm not sure, but it seems likely).
