Description Astonished, wrinkles Time's sincere
apologies, for all your fears -
that Ages gone are drawing Near,
and Time to shed the Maiden's Tears.

Upon the Rock that sheaths my Sword,
Inscribed my monumental Chore -
that all who Slither be forewarned -
will Banish thee to foreign shores,
to Haunt our mossy vale no more.

Sheer eloquence, marauding Doom
bequeaths beneath their dogged Boon,
and Time should come near Harvest Moon,
when all the Reapers grind their Spoons -
on Flesh they dine as Humans swoon.

But Behold!  A Single Flash of Light
Echoes Still across the Night -
It calls the All, with All their Might
to End their monumental Plight -
that Monument, with all its Sight.

So Men march off to Battlement,
as Women Weep in Lovers' Tents;
Time watches on in his Lament,
strings shining Pearls of these Events -
to call upon, with darkness gone -
Tear's drop, the rippling Veil is Rent.
