Description
Here is written the account of the mythical land of Teddy-Weddy, and the great Teddy Wars that lead to the Golden Teddy Age...There once was a land of teddy bears,
where songs were sung and food was shared,
and ne'er there ever was a care,
for life was good, and just, and fair.
Their days were spent in merriment,
planting fields and holding hands -
the Teddy Way was such that all
loved one another, great and small.
But one Teddy day, the word did come -
an evil in the land had sprung!
A dark hand stretched from off beyond
the borders of their fair kingdom.
"What Shall we do?!" the Teddies cried,
"Love's not enough, to fight this tide!"
"We can't all just go run and hide -
the darkness cannot be denied!"
"We'll arm our states!"- the cry was small -
no Teddy saw who made this call.
But the cheers went out, and one and all
turned field-ploughs to cannonballs.
So they left their fields, they left their mates,
to stare out past the Golden Gates -
with naught to do but sit and wait,
their restless hearts were turned to hate.
But as they sat, the Richest bought
the fields that the Teddies dropped,
and Corporations set up shop
on land the Teddy Bears had loved.
They scorched the air and filled the seas
with poisons from their factories,
and cut down all the gumdrop trees -
though nothing seemed to fill their greed.
* * *
One fateful Morn, the cry went out -
"The Candy Towers are falling down!"
And wailing cries turned to a shout,
the Culprit they would surely drown!
(if such a culprit could be found...)
Then Georgie-Teddy, the Richest still,
stepped up to the window-sill
of his house of White and Marble-stone -
and anger in his eyes then shone.
"'Twas Osama-Teddy!Β Β He's the One!
He lurks in shadow and hates our Fun!
The Work of Justice must be done,
for the sake of all of Teddy-dom!"
"There!" he cried, and pointed at
a little spot upon the map.
"There you'll find that stinking rat!"
and not a Teddy questioned that.
So smart-bombs rained from crimson skies,
and many Teddies fought and died -
and many more yet wondered why
"murder!" was among the cries
of those they righteously destroyed.
And yet the vengeful tide raged forth,
to prove themselves their Teddy worth -
and most forgot the taste of Love -
'twas hate that then the Teddies drove.
And while this slaughter, back at home
the remaining Teddies turned to Drones.
Distraction was their only tome -
in strange new toys that beeped and shone.
They'd gotten sick, could barely stand -
black soot had fallen on the land.
They'd forgotten how to use their paws,
their Teddy nubs had been de-clawed.
And Teddies died in wretched mass -
the plagues they'd sown had come at last.
Their ship of state had lost its Mast -
wracked by all the stormy blasts.
An eerie silence settled then,
upon the blackened streets and ruins.
And Georgie-Teddy rubbed his hands -
How he'd split the Teddy Lands!
* * *
Then Jesus-Teddy came on Down,
From where he'd watched upon his Cloud.
He glanced at Georgie with a frown,
and gathered all the Teddies 'round.
A Light shot from his Teddy brow,
where Peace was written to be Shown -
and All the Land was made to grow,
from ashes and the melt of snow.
He turned this Light on Georgie then -
and exposed within, and all his Kin,
a vile writhing mass of Sin.
"Snakes!" they cried, "In Teddy Skin!"
"Begone!" they called, "You Foul Vermin!
And ne'er come near our Land again!"
And so they slithered into Hell,
that vile pit so black and foul -
disgraced that they had yet been Shown,
the fire burnt their blackened bones.
Then, smile upon his Teddy face,
Jesus turned to the Teddy race.
He brought all the stars from outer space,
so every Teddy would know their place.
"My friends," said He, "I humbly pray,
that you learn your lesson in this way.
Now go dig, and dance, and run and play -
and Relish each and every day.
This, my friends, is the Teddy Way."

Wow! I really like this, it was delicious in content and tone. I like the universal conceptions in here based on our contemporary history and what not. I like it a lot. I demand what inspired you@ lol. Though I know that may be sacredly secret to you.

Inspiration is sacred, but nobody's secret. The juice for this piece came from a world of observation and happenstance
