Description
My first in color Β picture of Attack on Titan: The Might of Doctor Doom, involving him, and his informant: Annie Leonhardt.
The Doctor Von Doom has taken over Trost, and now the rest of the 3 walls. The coup has worked perfectly against the King, and in time, it appears like the city will experience a time of peace, safety from the Titan threat, with a new age of war machines.
However there is an impending threat that Eren Jeager fears, and fears Doom knows about it, does he? Or does his new favorite Β Annie Leonhardt have something to hide herself, and why would their new king keep this from them?

Let's put it this way, with the way things are going, the King who's an idiot, is just planning to let his people die while he hides safely away, and those who know whats really going on like the Ape Titan are willing to see it happen.Β
Doom wants to take the matter by the reigns and destroy the Ape Titan and use the rest of his children (The other titans) to big a bigger better city.

No doubt sacrificing countless lives in the process all to install an even more harsh and fascist regime leaving the people in a constant state of fear for their lives knowing it is safe neither out nor inside the walls.

Actually he's more of a charismatic leader, instilling a sense of defiance and pride in humanity, and an almost supremistic view of only the strong surviving, and those to scared to fight are sub-human.Β
His motto is "Every life loss is a strong child un-sired. A strong back that will never bear the responsibility of bettering humanity, I tire of Humanity being wasted on licentiousness and fear take back your spine and take back your lives from these witless monsters."
If he's going to inspire a whole nations + worth of people, he needs them behind him first. Β Where the danger will come from in Doom here, is what he's willing to sacrifice to get enough power to keep the status quo, and which people are not worthy to carry on so that the wise and strong can survive.Β

The problem with Doom, is he's a very effective and good ruler...he just also is a tyrant, so yes, he's going to subjugate those who resist to an oppressive reign, those who don't, become a proud people who are more like Doom

Well according to pre end 1999's era he was a horrid and tyrannical ruler.
After that Doom's depicted as someone who has a people who are actually happy with the way things are, and would't be a bad place if their ruler wasn't constantly putting the rest of the world in jeopardy with his doomsday weapons

Noooo, those people are basically brainwashed into a state of happy subservience lest they meet a gruesome end at the hands of Doom. Latveria is still very much a country ruled by fear with an iron grip. True it is more habitable than a place like say North Korea, but it's still not exactly ideal living.
