So at this point, I just decided to make more based on how I felt. No, I did not have a full fledged story in place, but i liked the pairing so much.

Here we have L learning how to use a wand for the very first time whilst Luna is pleased that her newest and only student has taken so effectively to her method of outside tutoring.

"Very good L..." she said in her soft toned way, "Did you mean for it to spell out your name before it vanished...?"

L looked slowly at her in the eye, it was funny to her how much like an owl he was when he did so. "Yes." he said simply.

"It's not terribly complex, but intricate enough not to be afforded the wrong hands..." he said examining the wand as he dangled it between his two fingers loosely.

"You seem to take to it quite well.." she nodded with her hands behind her back.

"Tell me..." L said, "Are there anyways to use a wand which can render another wizard's capable of rebounding..."
