Description
Shardis is an OC character I've made for a continuation of Treasure Planet that I'll be turning into a fan fiction after my Frozen one in the upcoming year. She is a morphling, Mereshark, inspired by the Mermaids of Hans Christian Anderson's stories who can sprout their own legs. Her amphibious species can genetically morph or "gene-volve" their own humanoid limbs, with adaptive clothing to aid.

She is a childhood friend of Jim's, and an orphan, one who convinced Jim not to run away from home as a boy to go after his father after he left. Now a Smuggler and a solar weaver, Shardis is a space fairing Lass who knows her away around patrols, and Jim...even when after the events of Treasure Planet, he is made the cadet charged with finding her and bringing her in for a crime she insists she's innocent of.

Jim will learn whether there are forces more corrupt than pirates in his own Federation in high places.

Personality: Self confident(She's had to be, no one aside from the Hawkins ever supported her), strong willed, clever, bold, level headed (but hides it), flirtatious, quick witted, and Loyal.

Occupations: Smuggler, Solar weaver (mending and making solar sails for ships).

Allies: Jim Hawkins, Long John Silver, Duran

Enemies: Squire Havington, Admiral Lhiat

Her Likes: Adventuring, swimming, competitive knife throwing/work, sewing, fighting, she loves to laugh.

Dislikes: Self Righteousness, unearned allegiance, being told what she can't do or what her friends can't do, good byes.

Powers and Abilities: A form shifter which is different than a shape shifter, she can only shift part of her form to make either one fin or two legs; gene-volving. Expert swimmer, acrobat, brawler, seamstress, dancer.
