Description
Jason Todd decides to do some snooping around for information on the missing, (assumed deceased) Robin. While looking around the fabled Racoon city, he gets the inkling he's being followed.
Pursuing the lead further, he discovers a corporation calling themselves Umbrella have been making their own brand of Lazarus formula.
Eager to silence what he knows, a venomous assassin named Copperhead, pounces upon her prey, turning into a raging battle from which one may not walk away from.

Well for one I hardly ever ship crack (DAMN IT DAGGERPEN!Do not trust her brilliant writing), another they are from completely different time periods, fandoms, etc, so that's weird, and lastly, she is 100% evil...usually. She's kind of the type to as sooner kiss you as burn you alive, and Jason...he flirts, but he makes it clear if he wants you dead. I dunno, it just is a recipe for disaster. And pain, and suffering... it will never last.

My reasoning for these two is actually the unique situation they find themselves in and the sheer cauldron of circumstances that lead to their repeated interaction.
She was given the ability to electrocute without having to channel lightning into a kata, and fire bend times 10 her rate. Thing is, she was given this gift by Wesker...who did the proceedure while she was still under. When she was told of these abilities, her first question to him was, "Why?"
To which he smiled and let her know that basically with the power comes a price, that price being he owns her ass to do what ever he wishes her too, if she hopes to live, there is indeed a deadman switch in her as with all his creations or alterations that makes it so they live or die at his whim. So she's more powerful, but basically alive for as long as it takes for her to outlive her usefulness, before she's of course permanently altered or killed.
Jason happens to be offering her a way out of this no win situation, and that's where it sort of starts.
Will they last? No, is it a healthy relationship, god no. Is it a wild ride, very much so, one they don't mind...insofar they don't trust it to last long themselves

hahaha... sorry I just was thinking how dead this "Wesker" guy is. We have seen Azula in action, the master manipulator and user. The one who used actual troupes dedicated to their country to become her troupes and sacrifice their nation to her and the fire nation. The idea of someone trying to control her is...cute. If only to watch them burn in the end. Seriously, I can see her using Jason to kill the guy, only so she can try to kill him for knowing too much in the end...hopefully not succeeding in that goal. I really just CAN NOT...see her being a damsel. Or passive, she's too strong.

Let me put it this way, she was manipulative to a bunch of bullies in uniform who were allowed to be in positions of power, underneath a pretty smart man who hadn't tangled with the likes of her.
To say she can be used or manipulated by a common man is laughable, or even uncommon. But would you say that she could manipulate or outwit Ozai? Or Amon? Or someone like Ras' Al Ghul?
Wesker is a stereotypical mwahaha badguy in a Zombie Pocolypse setting to be sure. That aside the guy is pretty formidable mentally and physically as it takes forever and a day to kill him, burning or no, and Lava does count. And whether your smart or not , having a serum in you that will kill you if you don't know how to undo it can be pretty annoying, especially when your in the ranks of people like Joker or Bullseye who i'm sure you know are obviously VERY easy to control.
Is she using Jason? Yes, completely, and does he know it? The guy's not an idiot and he is milking this good thing for what it's worth.
The fact of the matter of this arrangement is that she wasn't controlled because someone out-clevered her, but because she had the misfortune as Annie did of being unconscious for most of her "adjustments" which make her dependent on them.
She's no damsel, she's just biding her time for how to get out of this, and in this case, cute boy in the red mask happens to be the quickest way to that thus far while the clock ticks.

As much as I can see that, I also have to say yes; I can see her outsmarting and using her father. Ozai is decent, but she is on an entire level not even Ozai knows about. If she were not psychologically imbalanced I'm pretty sure she would have started preparations to become the next phoenix lord. As it is I heard in the new comics she does face ff against him to find her mother with Zuko and does take the information out of him. I also could see her facing down Ra's al Gual and Amon, she is that kind of character who has such a great skill set that she could take anything she wanted, if its what she desired.
Still she didn't start out great this time so she DOES have to wait, but I still don't think that guy understands what he unleashed. And she'll et him be that way until its time to strike him don... she is looking forward to that day as well ^^

In truth, it's Ozai who manipulates both of them, quite handedly in the comics, by sending them both out on information that's meant to make Zuko doubt himself, and her KILL their mother. All from his Jail cell without having to move. The guy's a capital douche.

Right, I've always looked at Ozai as the ultimate evil in a way. The reason Zuko did'nt come out as Dark as Azula is cause he wasn't raised by him and had the least amount of contact with him while he was still a prince. When he is nearly able to plunge the Fire Nation into another War, and successfully make Azula believe she needs to kill their mother from his Jail cell. I was like "I totally get why his kids turned out this way, only she was already sort of...messed up, so it wasn't that much of a stretch."
Especially when you see why it is he hates Zuko out of his children as much as he does, and you really feel sorry for Ursa, not that it's hard to, but you really do after that
