This is a very interesting piece, the one thing that I noticed that was a little strange is the first two mermaids were in the same pose while the third one is sitting on the bottom of her tank... I like the tones and colors everything seems very serene even though the first two mermaids look like they are shouting.

This is great. I love atmospheric drawings. I'm working towards becoming a matte/environmental artist for both film and game development and I always admire work like this. I can honestly seeing this in a Michael Bay movie; maybe even Spielberg.

This is a wonderfully striking image. It's very powerful. It makes me think of all the amazing creatures that mankind keeps in captivity and how the animals must feel about it.
If there were mermaids, I bet you'd find some of them in similarly sad conditions.
This would make a phenomenal illustration for a sci-fi magazine cover.
