It all started because I've been eating a lot of PB & J sandwiches. Not because I'm poor or on a diet or anything, but I happen to like them!
So while I was watching Shippuuden, I thought, "Hmm, I wonder if Gaara likes peanut butter and jelly. I bet that was the extent of fatherly love he got as a kid." Yes, most of my comics come from such random thoughts! There's absolutely no mystery to the process at all! 
So, because I can't do the Sand Sibs in my "Konoha Dads Are Bad" series, I figured I could show their crap-a-kage father in a Sand Sibs episode . . . and meanwhile, enjoy a little bit of Kankurou abuse!
But this one kind of ended happily! Just keep telling yourself it's crunchy peanut butter, kitty boy . . .All digital in PS Elements

Oh man, I just lost it when I read this. (well I wanted to, but it was 4 something in the morning and I had to clamp my hand over my mouth and snort not-so-quietly through my nose.) This is SO my family when it was just me and my two older siblings. Whenever mom left dad to babysit he would feed us really lame stuff (if he remembered to feed us at all), my oldest sister would act all "hard-ass", my second oldest sister would be all happy-cheerful, and I don't remember feeling any murderous intent, but I do remember scowling and wishing mom would get home. Ah...nostalgia...

But then I just have to love him because he looks just like Ichigo.
And then there's Temari who's all, Dad. You suck. Uncle/Aunt/It Yashamaru made us this same thing for lunch.
