nothing fancy. just a test subject. my sister, an artist in her own right, recently counseled me to start putting my art into another medium so that i wasn't just drawing something, but would be actually*making* something. it seemed like a good idea, and i wanted to try my hand at relief carving. so here we go.Related content

thanks! still a bit too early to tell whether i like carving - so far i've come away with this piece, and a couple of hand-gashes. leatherworking could be interesting, though.

Oh, it's definitely a compliment. Gunnerkriegg Court in a webcomic. Coyote is one of the characters and is supposed to be the Coyote from Native American legends. He's a trickster and all powerful. The comic is a pretty good story, too!
