“Good luck Anne.” It was brief, but Shanna managed a sincere smile to accompany her well wishes.

She had entered the tournament almost on a whim. She had recognized a chance to put herself against some wrestlers she had seen from afar, had admired, respected and frankly loved to see work other girls over.   She loved the idea of facing off against some of them and her draw had given her two of her very favorites… Nikki Martin and Aleena Zon.   Now that she was in the finals though things were far more than just a whim. It was now a chance for her to be a champion and she was going to seize it and Anne Carter wasn’t going to stop her.

“Thank you Shanna, and good luck to you too.” Anne managed and equally sincere smile through an equally determined look. Anne had been here before, close but always coming up a win short. OCWT and her own LAV titles within her grasp but both slipping away. This was her chance to exorcise those demons, a chance to once again right the ship.   Her win against Lisa had been the first step and her submission against the tough Absinthe had given her all the confidence she needed. Now Shanna was just in the way between her and a trophy and her fondness for the blonde was all put behind her.   Anne was ready to be crowned.

The two got nearly nose to nose before locking up and digging in deep, each trying to force the other back, neither giving an inch.   The intensity of this one was on right from the very beginning.
