Now it was Devon’s turn to fire back. She got to her feet and covered the distance in two fast steps. She slammed her arm into Natasha hammering her chest, neck and head. It was a beautiful clothesline, well aimed and well delivered. The Russian was now the one on her back in pain and surprise.It wasn’t the beginning anyone had foreseen, both girls delivering early heavy blows. Certainly these were exchanges that might not benefit Devon in the long run, but if she could capitalize now she could blunt some of her opponent’s strength.

Going toe-to-toe with Natasha may not have been the prescribed method for getting the win, but you have to give Devon some leeway now that the action is underway ... she has to be able to make adjustments in terms of strategy and focus, and it would seem that she is doing great so far!!!

I disagree (and we all know how important my opinion is). Fast, sudden attacks like this may be exactly what Devon needs. Anyone with eyes can see she's not the stronger fighter here, so she damn well better be quicker and have more endurance.
Maybe I'm misreading it, but this feels a lot like a game of cat and mouse. And if the mouse has any hope, she'd better keep her ass moving!
