Masika was once a young and sprightly pallas cat, known for her quick wit and sharp tongue. She was born in the heart of the Delta, in a lush, vegetated area that her Pride, Pride Akhet, called home. From a young age, Masika was fascinated by the world around her, and she was always eager to explore and learn new things.
As she grew older, Masika's natural curiosity was matched by her fierce determination. She became a skilled hunter, able to track even the most elusive prey through the dense underbrush of the Delta. And as her reputation grew, so too did her influence within her Pride. Eventually, Masika became one of the elder members of Pride Akhet, respected by all who knew her.
But with age came a grumpiness that Masika had never exhibited before. She grew increasingly irritable and short-tempered, and many of the younger members of her Pride began to avoid her. Even so, Masika remained fiercely loyal to her Pride and its traditions, and she was always the first to speak out against any perceived threat to their way of life.
Despite her gruff exterior, there are still rare moments when Masika's softer side shines through. She has a particular soft spot for the cubs of her Pride, though she'd never show it, and she'll gruffly teach them important survival skills.

Pebble was found orphaned in a small cave in the dense vegetation of the Delta and taken in by Pride Akhet. From a young age, Pebble was fascinated by the stories of the seers, who could heal any wound or sickness, and glimpse visions of the past or future. He spent hours listening to the tales of his elders and dreaming of one day becoming a seer himself.
As he grew older, Pebble's curiosity and natural intuition caught the attention of Ibis, the seer of Pride Akhet. Ibis took Pebble under her wing, teaching him how to read the patterns in the plants and animals around them and how to interpret visions if they came to him in his dreams. He was recently initiated as an acolyte in the seer's order, marking the beginning of his formal training as a seer.
Despite his youth and inexperience, Pebble proved to be a quick learner. However, Pebble struggles with doubts and fears, afraid that he will make a mistake or misinterpret a sign and lead the Pride astray.
Under Ibis's patient guidance, Pebble is learning to trust his instincts and have faith in his abilities. Pebble is eager to learn all he can, but he knows that the path ahead will not be easy. He must face many challenges and tests before he can truly call himself a seer of Pride Akhet.
