Duel assignment: QUEST 2 + Acolyte training: Hunting

Featuring: Senura of Pride Akhet & her mentor, Opal

The journey to the construction site began before dawn, long before the hot sun rose into the sky. Often times for Senura and Opal, this trek was time spent wisely, as time to train. Sometimes Senura listened to Opal's informative lectures, or to other members of the Pride tell her stories about their Pride's history. Other times Senura was quizzed and tested. Today though, like many days, they were spending time on the hunt. Workers at the site would require nourishment to keep their strength up, as would they. Each Pride was expected to contribute prey for everyone to share; this way, even if one territory had been more badly effected than another's, they would not be left to hunger while they slaved away at their construction. It had taken Senura some time to overcome her limp and learn how to compensate for it while hunting, but she showed improvement each time and she hoped her mentor was proud of her progress. Today she had already caught a fat rat, and had ambitions of catching another before they reached their destination.
