I waited one day before posting it here.Let me introduce you to what's probably my LESS successful pic so far! (even on Tumblr! Could you believe it?)
I had fun drawing it, anyway. Simple composition, quick colors, nice exercise!

Thank you! Still not a fan of the costume and in my heart Carol Danvers is still Ms.Marvel (also, I don't like teen superheroes' stories in general), but I had fun drawing this!

Normally I would agree with you, but in my older age, I have become more of a romantic once more and I have enjoyed the insanity of her adventures. I mean she takes on the clone of Thomas Edison in the form of a mechanically enhanced cockatiel ... that's the sort of insanity I remember with the original Plastic Man comics. But I also like some of the message that she puts out there ... not just being a heroine in costume, but doing the right thing is done with or without the mask.

I understand that, and it's always great having variety in stories and characters. That's the sense I give to the phrase "Comics are for everyone," not in terms of generic content, but in terms of every content possible available without doubting the legitimacy of others.
I know it may sound odd me talking about subtlety, but probably Ms Marvel could've used a little more on some occasions..?
One thing is sure, everyone should be less confrontational. Things are getting way too ridiculous!

Marvel and DC both have been pissing me off for ages, turning me away from being a very loyal customer to one who goes, "Pass!" to most if not all of their titles, depending on which you speak of. And I agree ... it's not for everyone. I tried to get into the business years ago when Marvel was having some problems and they were honest, if not a bit crueler than needed, but that's ok. It's that sort of business.
Probably ... though the stories delight me, so they are doing just fine for me. If other people don't like it, I can only say, "I feel your pain."
