The obese hulking ogre is truly a horrifying sight to behold, standing almost twice the height of a man, and weighing upwards of half a ton, the ogre is an apex predator that compensates for it's lack of mobility with great beasts of burden.
With a cultural and historical affinity for brutality, cannibalism, and slavery, they are considered by other races to be one of the most vile, cruel, and feared races.
Their lack of any human qualities such as compassion, morality or mercy, and their innate lust for power, and a greedy gluttonous character, makes them one of the most politically unstable races.Ogre politics are a constant struggle for power marked by strings of betrayals, kin killing, kingslaying, and other manner of violent ploys.(Usually ending with the usurper feasting on the usurped.)
Despite this they've had great success, with their slave labour, twisted eugenics, forced breeding of human(And ogre ) cattle and propensity for domination and conquest, they have annexed valuable territory, and from their great dome, threaten the survival of many core races.
Their extreme variation of size, weight, and appearance comes from their forced breeding and eugenics. Breeding low quality mindless ogre cattle for their prized flesh(Ogres consider other ogres to be the ideal delicacy) has resulted in degenerate strains of ogre that are barely taller than men, sometimes with serious deformities and mental disabilities.
The Ogre female has been so subject to breeding that their largest sows are twice the height of the males and many times heavier, confined to underground lairs where they give birth to great numbers of ogre young.
The Ogre kings, plague lords, and warlocks grow so fat that they are only able to move by caravan.
The greatest ogre bull and lords lumber as high as two stories, leading their minions into war and carnage.
