Looks like you put Grey Fox, an Armorless EVA and a Licker into a blender and pressed Smootie

...one part Licker, one part MGS cyborg tech.
And I thought Nemesis was bad with a Rocket Launcher...

Hey is there something that looks like the licker? I mean cool drawing but I want to know if there was something like it except more different. It was like fighting an army of zombies surrounding him, and the thing was holding two machine guns and it looked like the licker and I wanted to know if you know what it was or is or what movie was it. So can you help me and nice drawing still.

After seeing TALOS, I suppose cyborg BOW's like these are possible.

TALOS looked so goddamn ridiculous. Like a Rob Liefeild character made out of Apple-products.
How could anyone not love that thing.

Yeah, but despite your animosity you have towards TALOS, the idea of Cybernetic BOW's like your cyber licker could be the result of reverse engineering from TALOS as the precursor. But all in all, to see Cybernetic BOW's in a future Resident Evil game.

Oh, okay. Did it's first form look ridiculous, or it's second. Come to think of it when I first saw him I thought TALOS' first form looked like something from another video game which I can't pin point right now.

This one looked just.. Yeah like it's from something that's really like TOTALLY RAD EXTREME 90'S
It really reminds me of Cable or something, it looks out of place yeah, but some how I still like it, probably just for how out of place it is.

I see, I think the games I was thinking of when I thought that TALOS could've derived from was either, F.E.A.R., Quake, Half-Life, I guess because of it's pure white armor or something. Your Cyber Licker I can tell was influence from Metal Gear Solid, but I also might add they remind me of the Golems from Parasite Eve 2 [link]

ALSO I SHOULD ADD, if you do end up commissioning me for that Metal Man design it will be more on par with this quality wise.

Has the Les Enfants Terribles project really gone this far?
This would be a really neat idea if Metal Gear went the Survival Horror route. The color palette does match too, although when think of MGS4, I think of muted blues rather than browns.

When I was a kid, we played a lot of Resident Evil 2 along-side MGS1. That first damn licker and Gray Fox's murder-hallway shenanians, and the overall dark and realistic look the games had really tied the two together in my mind.
That and the "oh god what the fuck do I do there is nothing I haven't checked, I've been in every room twice, I have no ammo or health items, and I can't find any keys or any th--FUCK ENEMY SAW ME OH GOD RUN RUN RUN RUN"
Needless to say, yeah... the thought of Snake going through Raccoon City crossed my mind quite a few times...
I should specify, the FIRST half of MGS4, Middle East and South America, which I spend the most time in. Most of the gear and mechanical things had a lot of browns and greens, though yeah, the end went back to MGS1 blue colors (mostly because of act 4 derptydoo)
Still, at least it's better than MGS2's ORANGE ORANGE ORANGE GREEN GREEN GREEN color scheme...

See, when you posted that, Hideo Kojima got chills running down his spine, knowing he did his job right.
That makes sense though. I could also talk about how MGS3 was overwhelmingly brown and yellow but I can not bring myself to hate on MGS3. ;__;

Ahahah!
Yeah MGS3 and Shadow of the Colossus kind of invented the now over used "brown and bloom"
MGS3 was mostly in the woods though, so I mean.. it makes sense, and it was actually atmospheric and lent itself to the gameplay. due to the color palette, some of the enemies, and even Snake in the right camo ended up being hard to spot for the player.

grogfella In reply to Oniika [2011-03-10 07:53:25 +0000 UTC]
To be fair, the overuse of brown and bloom is mostly because modern graphics engines are terrible at simulating radiosity. That, and not every game can be Mirror's Edge.
And I still think the color palettes work for those games too, MGS3 still looks staggeringly good for a PS2 title.

Oniika In reply to grogfella [2011-03-10 18:45:14 +0000 UTC]
Yeah I've worked with 3d modeling and lighting, and I've played a lot of games too, when devs say things like "oh everything's brown because of limitations with the engine!" or "oh everyone's bald because hair can't be done convincingly enough!" they're full of crap. There's tons of games out there with pretty hair and bright colors, they just have shit-taste and shit-design teams.
I agree that Colossus and MGS3 still look amazing. It was clearly the style they were going for in those games.

At any rate, this stands rather exceptionally well with anything else in your Gallery.

Yeah I wanted to stay away from BLACK ON BLACK WITH BLACK HIGHLIGHTS.
I mean, it's cool, but.. I wanted to give this a look more reminiscent of the early gekko. I imagine these things would be deployed in like... deserty and semi-urban areas like them.
Nothing saying they can't have different colored armor though...
...or that the armor isn't octocamo...
