Anybody get the feeling they are refrencing Transformers Cybertron with the keys?

It make sense as in cybertron the keys were described as ancient relics of inmaginable power cable of great feats. That was ommitted as most of the worlds (except earth) protectors of the keys had no idea what they were let alone their purpose. So I think it ties in nicely that in Prime the keys were among other infamous tools of ancient cybertron that would be used to restore the planet (unlike in cybertron which they were used to give additional power to Primus so he could destroy the black hole).
On another note some of the other iacon relics come from additional generations:
The Spark extractor originates from Beast Machines, the Apex Armour originates from G1 and the Star Saber originates from Armada.
Also just something I noticed the Poliarity Gauntlet looks like an omni-tool from the Mass Effect Games.
