This was all done in Maya. The robot and the environment are both rendered at the same time. I rendered the frames at a high resolution, and then, because DA requires it, I shrunk the animation down to 150x150.

Im in school right now studying maya myself, and i love your art that you have If you want, do what i did with some of my school stuff, put it together as a movie in adobe after-effects, put it up on a video place like youtube (but a little bit more classier) and make a goofy picture, and link to your video, much easier to put up better reveloution stuff and longer things

That's a good idea; thanks for the suggestion. I'll either do that or just pay for a personal site; I really should do that, but I've been so busy the past few years with game work. Do you know anyone who does art sites?

Thanks for the kind words. I wanted to get the animated version on DA, and to do that I had to make the animation fit within 150x150. And besides, art looks better when you shrink it. Theoretically.
