nov.17 2012: *60 points to download full size! PLEASE DO NOT REPOST THE FULL SIZE* Please feel free to take from this tutorial a new technique: colouring with the fringe setting. I am okay if you draw the same style for practice, but please do not copy this style exactly (for commissions, especially). It's a bit off-putting to have my hard work taken advantage of. Tutorials are meant to teach you new tricks that you can incorporate into your work.
And later on, I hope you will pass on your tricks to other artists! 
* I used SAI and Opencanvas for the effects at the last step. Photoshop to save with transparency cause my SAI doesn't allow that. ^__^

It actually helped out, I've been trying to figure out how you did that forever, I never thought you would do it like that.. You're genius. Also it inspired me to start a tutorial folder! So you've helped me keep more organized.
I don't want to copy the style exactly, but this has given me lots of inspiration and ideas to try generally the same idea in a different.. way.. aspect.. thingy. Thank youu~

Yeah, I have 10 folders however, all contained within a folder folder. I'm eventually going to need sub-folders to my folder folder to hold folders. Gah @.@

The shading is really unique... I'll presume that it's a SAI thing that us PS users will never understand.
