Trivia
- Claude's eyes and dark veins are effects from radiation poisoning (which has also rendered him infertile)
- Claude is dependent on daily medication to stop the degeneration of his cells/body from said radiation poisoning. Without it over a few days, he runs high risk of haemorrhage, heart problems and kidney issues.
- His medicine is bought from Barter Town , where he's most often seen picking up new jobs from the many merchants who work there.
- Asides bounty hunting, he also takes pay for bodyguard jobs and caravan escorting services.
- Claude still holds a good rapport with his bounty hunting brethren. They're more than a little surprised with his tag-along.
- Claude's eyes don't see well in sunlight but are at their peak in the dark, hence his nocturnal hunts and his codename, Noctus.
- If he has to work in the day, he's often seen with shades .
- Claude's skills include marksmanship, fisticuffs, smithing and........knitting.
- Sirhan's eye was removed as punishment for trying to escape the traffickers. (He still has nightmares about this)
- Sirhan burns were self-inflicted so they could not complete their sale of him to a flesh trader looking for a 'pristine' specimen.
- Sirhan's skills include, horseriding, cooking, gardening and......healing (He has good knowledge of first aid and natural remedies to use for wounds and common sicknesses).
- Claude loves hunting Pokemon ie. Dogs, raptor birds and horses
- Sirhan loves farm Pokemon ie. Livestock, especially sheep, cows and horses.
- Claude has not informed Sirhan of his health issues (even if Sirhan suspects it) and believes he has little more than ten years left in him (The age his mother died)

| STORY |
Growing up in the Wastelands was a hard life, but young Claude made the best of it as he apprenticed under a blacksmith father who toiled day in and day out to provide what little they could for their family and buy what scraps of medicine they could for a wife who was dying from the prolonged effects of radiation. She died when Claude was 13, and his father, spiraling into mad despair from their loss and the realisation that Claude, who was beginning to show the same signs of radiation sickness, would also die early one day, attempted a suicide pact with the boy who was terrified and confused by it despite the promises that they were going to see mother soon. Just as soon as they burned this house down.
A travelling mercenary intercepted the pact and managed to save Claude, but not his father and now rendered an orphan, the boy had no choice but to tag along with the mercenary who brought him back to other mercenaries who were often employed as 'hunting dogs' or 'cleaners' who caught fugitives, retrieved 'goods' both material and 'live' and occasionally conducted hits.
They were all aware of their short lifespans but were hell bent on making the most of it and that determination to scrap and claw to live despite the odds gave Claude something to hold on to as he learned from them the tricks of the trade.
They taught him, amused by his chutzpah and will to live despite being told of his condition, and helped obtain for medication to fight the effects of the radiation sickness until he became a full-fledged bounty hunter at eighteen and was able to obtain it on his own.
He led a lonely, nomadic life after that, traveling from one outskirt city to another seeking jobs wherever he could find them.
Things changed when he took an assignment from a wealthy merchant one day to hunt down raider-traffickers who had ransacked one of their caravans and retrieve their stolen property.
He tracked them down to their hideout only to find out that the raiders were trafficking Pokemon as well, and here he crossed paths with a slave boy who had been tasked with tending to the Pokemon which were waiting for buyers. He managed to convince the boy, Sirhan, to help him out on his mission, and upon hearing about how Sirhan came to be in the traffickers' clutches, decided to go one further and kill every one involved with the murder of the boy's entire family and their enslavement.
The remaining traffickers panicked however and retreated to their base of operations, a hilltop military bunker which was run by a small-time crime lord raider, and Claude, determined to finish the rest of his mission, headed there and cleared them out with the help of Sirhan and the freed Pokemon who had bonded with the boy.
As they fled the onslaught and Claude managed to retrieve the merchant's wares, it was also to realize that he had been left with a considerable piece of property forcefully liberated from the criminals, and in being fully aware that Sirhan had nowhere to go, decided to take the boy into his care and claim the bunker as a base of operations where they could be safe while he was on missions.
That the boy decided to turn it into a home was unexpected....but not wholly unwelcomed.
