Resolution of steel.My side of a trade with ~Tanaigre for her wonderful piece.
I'm actually quite happy with how this came out, despite obvious overkill in some areas *sheepish grin*
This happens to be a Human Version of her OC, StressProof; a Medic if one hasn't yet realised.
(And a damn good one from the sounds of it). Flanking him on top and Ronan (ratchet) and Finn (First Aid). Flanking the bottom are two random children and two hopeful OCs in the near future. 
Tani, here's to hoping you like this one as much as I liked yours!
Brushes for bloodstains from AngryBlue, and I forgot the name of who had the brushes for burnt paper, but credits to you too.

I took a lot of cues from Hank McCoy for Strahan Priest/Stressproof, so the resemblance to Beast is very much intentional

Okay, wow, seriously. I saw this before it was coloured, so I was completely, totally, utterly, undeniably--I was blown away!! XD This, right here, is feckin' *amazing*. Astounding! You've got a real talent for expression. *huggles Stress to death! <333* There're just so many--too many--pieces with pretty faces, but with absolutely nothing to them. -.- But this? You can get a clear feel for the urgency of the situation, and that nobody is even *close* to giving up or giving in. They've got jobs to do, and gosh golly, they're going to do them! XD
And the colouring! It's got such a great feel to it. It's not...I don't want to say flat, exactly, but it's not inappropriately bright and vibrant. They're not in a sunshine and lollipops environment, and the colours reflect that.
Warning: Questions ahead. XD (feel free not to answer them, it's fine) How long did it take you to do, lines n' everything? Did you use the Gaussian blur up top, or was that something else? The glowing aura as well. And the grainy paper and lettering, how'd you do that? And lastly, the faded effect around his...nether regions (>:3), how'd that work? XD
I'm in the same RP as Tanaigre, so I'm reaaaaaaally excited about seeing Traipse. XD <3333 Although given the sheer awesomness of this piece, I don't think my brain'll be able to handle the coming epicness of your next one, and will, undoubtedly, implode.

As *straya says. 'These guys don't do pretty. We're not even sure Wheeljack does SHOWERS'.
As for your questions;
1. The lines definitely took the longest, since I'm still getting used to my tablet. Two layers; One normal lineart, the other, accented. Shortest was the flat colouring. All in all, a good seven hours of work at least? (Non-stop)
2. There was some gaussian blur there. Technically, a duplicated layer of the picture above the original at 60% opacity (or less) and gaussian-blurred. The Glowing Aura thing can be done if you look at Layer properties 'Outer Glow' and just fiddle with it until you get your desired effect.
3. The grainy paper = Plain brownish grey hue on one layer, some burnt paper brushes using black on another layer on top, and sandstone under the Texturizer filter. Typeface is Blackadder. ^_^
4. *Chuckles* That was an accident. if you look closely, you can see a clean line where there shouldn't be one there. 
I hope that's all?

Oh well done! I'm so glad you colored this! I love the background of the hippocratic oaths, it's very fitting for all three of the medics up there. It really does dictate their lives and they all live up to it so well in their own way. I like the shield idea a lot! I had come up with something similar for First Aid that went across his back, but never got around to doing anything with it in my fics. I really like how you incorporated it in the pic. I also really like the 'grittiness' of the coloring and shading. This ain't a pretty sparkly war, and you show it very well! Heh, keep it up and I might request a commission XD You are awesome with each new picture!

*Ponders* They do have protection based on the Geneva conventions, but ever since quite recently I think I've read of some the incidents with certain people of war-torn nations taking potshots at supposed saviors to steal supplies or grab hostages (or simply to beat the frag out of them for 'helping the enemy'
As for the colouring, well, that's the learning curve for ya.

I LOVE THIS.
I love the fact that you have captured every single part of what makes Proof, Proof. His shield, to begin with, which in his mech form is his most important tool, the one he as a field medic uses to keep himself and his patients safe. His build in general, the huskiness that comes with being expected to be a medic irregardless of location (or nearby firefights), and finally, in his expression, that stubborn determination that, no matter how fed up and tired he's with the fighting, he will damn well GET his patients on their feet again, DAMMIT.
Love every detail of your art, from his hair (which needs attention he's too busy to give him), to his GIT! posture. Words cannot convey my gratitude, or my appreciation, with any ease, but: Thank You.

I think the mental image came strong with your descript of him to begin with.
The shield was a bit of a limbo at first; I didn't know how to portray it until the last possible goddamn moment, and I'm happy you like it as it is.
As for his build, guilty of the first degree of Hank McCoy-ism. *raises paw sheepishly* I cannae' help it. XDXD
