Part EIGHT of this motherferaligatin' ENTRy.YEAH!
WE.
ARE.
FINISHED!
I'm ticked off with the plain blue BG for the second panel a little, but we work with what we have X3.
Saladin uses Sunny Day to herald change over the previous 'winter landscape'.
Artagnan and Tino manage to carve out another masterpiece of a Celtic Cross which, somewhat resembles a tree with that lake beneath it.
Tino takes the girls for a ride and uses his Twister to send a shower of icy Shamrocks across the arena.
Congratulations on completely wrecking the set you lot. I pity the next contestant in this division.
Aaaand the crowd goes wild. Or errr.....so I hope.
Symbolic ballyhoo;
- Lake in the shape of a Celtic knot Shamrock. Lake is partly greenish from Delacroix having ingested vegetable dye prior to the round.
- Stag/ Damh, symbol of the sun, Quintessential Irish animal and a favorite of them druids.
- Celtic cross. Just because we can.
- More Shamrocks than you can shake a shillelagh at. I mean LOOK at those 'flowers' on them Spring Mebukijikas' antlers. Those ain't no flowers. >.>
- Phoenix symbolic of regeneration and rebirth.
- Green for nature and spring asides being the synonymous with St.Patrick's Day.

Your lines and Darkana's colors are gorgeous together. The Celtic cross, the deer/mebukijikas, the Tartan... It's all just AMAZING.

..that was one wild ride.
I gotta say, this was absolutely amazing.
Definitely in the top tier of best entries of round 3, no doubt. It was creative, engaging, original, and the pokemon had JUST as much character as the trainers, and I think a lot of people forget to give their pokemon as much personality.
Also, Hale and Azure ARE probably two of my favorite gals in the tourney. They were strong, independent, and hell, Azure just plain looks hot in pinstripes while Hale looks hot in mostly anything. -bricked- (Plus Azure was really, really fun to draw in Round 2..)
And as for the cameos in this page...

I tend to make Poke-characters who have the distinctive inability to shut up most of the time, and their dialogue was more than fun to pan out
Hale and Azure make natural friends I believe. They seem to have the same interests and triggerhappy tendencies at least XDXD
That, and their male companions are apparently already friends from the previous round, so STRIKE TWO FOR THE TEAM.
As for Annon. Hot damn. Did you see that first panel of his Autumn entry? I was like UNFFFFF all over that single image man. He *is* manly, just doesn't show it that often perhaps
