Bumblebee Week prompt 6: Courage
Definitely didn’t figure I was gonna be able to do all the prompts, but I managed to work on the two most important for Ben/Bumblebee’s character!
He starts out as a very meek little kid living in an abusive household under a cop father whose expectations he could never live up to, but there comes a point where get gets the courage to stand up to his old man (when his old man ends up threatening his best friend who was part of a workers’ rights protest) and from that point on, he’s sort of got an El-Ahrairah attitude towards outmanuevering and outrunning the dangers in his life Ie. “‘But first, they’ll have to catch you”.

He doesn’t much fear Decepticons—not even Tarn, though he becomes a lot more pragmatic with his actions in this case—-on the field as a recon scout, because he’s lived with monsters before, and he’s got this.
