I know it's offtopic, but I was wondering: How much of the show do you actually "let in" as a photographer? Are you still aware of the music or do you focus on photography only? Do you actually stay throughout the whole show, or do you have to leave after a few songs? I've seen that happen on festivals.

You certainly ask frequent questions
I usually attend everything as a photographer. I only attend as a listener/audience if I am with someone special, for fun, and if I really like the musician. When I shoot I do not recognise the music as you can not hear it properly from the pit. Normally I stay for the rest of the show.
