as i got older, i started to utterly hate spongebob, and just about EVERY character Tom Kenny voiced
(not Tom Kenny himself though, he's a good dude, and i actually met him once years ago)

Well tom Kenny does has some GOOD roles, at least I think there good such as
Well Spongebob Squarepants is obviously #1 in my book kennyβs best role by far IMO

The problem is, more often than not, even if his anger at his neighbours is highly justified, Squidward can be even more dumb, thoughtless, immature, impatient, selfish and egotistical than those he is frequently mean to.
If he doesnβt take advantage of someone for his own greed, like Spongebob and his gap teeth for example, heβs showing absolutely no gratitude for any kind or caring moment anyone gives him. Or heβs considering himself superior to anyone else.
Bert, i can relate to, Two-Legs Joe, yep. Benson, most of the time, most definitely.
Squidward, Ed Bighead, Edward? They can all go back to Kindergarten!!!

Everyone has problems with stupid people. When I was a kid, I used to think Squidward was just a grumpy jerk. Now as an adult, I can totally see why he's that way. Having to be stuck between a childish sponge and a retarded starfish that annoy the heck out of him, a crummy job that doesn't pay him much due to his boss being a greedy bastard (I mean remember when he fired Spongebob over a nickle?)

Man, that is so true O_O I never realized that! When I was much younger, I always felt Squidward was a stick in the mud, but as I grew older, I related more and more to him and also yes, I have a problem with stupid people too

I used to think that Squidward to be a joykiller back when I was younger, but then as I get older, especially when I see the newer seasons, I can see why Squidward gets angry at Spongebob quite often.
Blatantly dumb people and scaremongers better not cross with me, because I know that my fuse can shorten real quick when I get really upset.
