Alright... I know, I know. That looks nothing like Daphne. That acts nothing like Daphne. That cup size is nothing like Daphne.
To be honest, I was trying a how-to guide's tips for drawing her (not Her specifically, but in the details of clothes and whatnot).
I leave it up to imagination which parts were her imagination and what was 'real.'

Outside of her name, there is nothing to go on for Daphne, or Tracy Davis, Sue Li, Megan Jones, or a lot of characters for that matter.

While the 'true Slytherin' could go to the 'Reckless' House, I personally would vote towards Hufflepuff as the place for the true Snake to hide.
1- Hufflepuff is views as a collection of duffers, weaklings and all that, and rarely noticed by and large.
2- Hufflepuff is full of loyalty. when you start your inner circle, you want them to be the most loyal people you can get, so now you can start young too.
3- Everyone notices Gryffindor, because they are 'brave' and people of action.
3.5- Everyone expects the Gryffindor to behave recklessly, so you have more dangerous expectation to play to in regards to your cover personality to hide your sly one.
4- Ravenclaws are known for knowledge, so those more intelligent among both the Eagles and the Snakes would be more wary of the Sly Eagle.

Just figured that, even though he's supposedly able to fit into any house (I... Think. That was canon, right? I'm not just bleeding fiction into my fiction?), his life up until this point would be rather... bereft of any experience regarding "trust" and what not. Perhaps the 24/7 chores would count as handwork, though...
Anyway- Just imagine that the choice was essentially between snakes or lions. And while he's probably less of an innocent child compared to canon, he's still an 11 year old who just found magic, so there wasn't much arguing he'd probably put up aside from the canon "keep me the hell away from that blonde git."
And just for the record- Yes: I'm spout crap coming from the top of my head as 'reasoning' xD

True. And while I recall the canon hat saying he could fit into any house, it was more focused on Slytherin and he didn't want to go there. A common reasoning for an 11 year old to so desperately want to not be in a specific house is the fact that Malfoy is already there.

it remind me a fan fic i read, where a Slytherin Harry during the first year sorting he argue with the sorting hat that a true Slytherin will never be in the Slytherin house, convincing it cleverly to put him in Gryffindor.
