Description
Well I officially finished my ponysona. This artwork is mostly traditional. This is Cosmic! She's an Alicorn, but not of regal blood or even in any royal family generation. Her father was a unicorn and her mother a Pegasus.
She doesn't use her magic for much of anything other than to paint or use utensils for artistic expression and creation.
She doesn't find herself flying very much due to her fear of heights and she loves her closest friends like sisters.
Her tail is a few shades of greens, its long and wavey like her mane, and her cutie mark is a paintbrush with red paint on the end, with a yellow pencil crossing it, and a heart behind both of them to express her love of art!
OC details:
Mane: Baby Pink with Baby Blue
Tail: Two shades of green, Mostly Neon Green, mixed with Forest Green
Coat: Shiny white, in the shade, very very very very very light blue shade
Eye: Blood Red
Species: Alicorn
Wings: Light Blue
Horn: White
Notable Features: Pink hooves, has a beauty mark (or a black mole) Under her right eye.
Drawing took 10 minutes, coloring took 40 minutes.
My Little Pony is owned by HASBRO.
and Cosmic the MLP OC is owned by me, /

Yea I'm not a fan of alicorns, they always seem too princessy.

I don't think its really going to be found in tutorials because people color their work and prepare their line arts differently. The way that I do it (also thanks very much for the compliment ) is how I prepare my line art personally is clean it up after I scanned it. It's done with pencil and I erase sometimes so I gotta go in and make the lines look not so messy (sometimes it never works LOL) .. If you have a coloring program that allows you to make layers, after you are done cleaning up your lines, Use Contrast/Brightness setting to darken the picture just SLIGHTLY and higher the contrast SLIGHTLY, I keep doing this until I get my desired Line affect, after that I copy the line art and paste it again as a new layer. I set that layer to MULTIPLY and edit that multiply layer with a Rendering, I pick "Blur More" or "Blur" and i keep blurring it until I have my desired blur affect. Then I go into that layer setting and adjust its opacity so that its not TOO over powering of the regular line art.
Anyway I hope that answers your question, its the best way i can answer it LOL
