Gee tolerated Aaron riding him, but he was clearly not happy about it. The moving water slowed him down enough that taking off would have been too much effort, so he walked along obediently. Even if he had tried galloping, Aaron was a good enough horseman to handle it. Still, Gee pinned his ears back every so often, just to make a point.
