i know!  some pictures work out best scanned in in b&w and others grayscale, or others color.   but i find one day i like one type and the next day i prefer another.

recently i've discovered leaving the scanner cover up, also changes the tones    

i've yet to find the magic bullet of settings, brightness, contrast, dpi, etc... that looks the same as my original.  usually i think the original is better but occasionally the electronic looks better.  

so i've resigned myself to just do 3 or 4 of each picture....  someday i'll go back and pick out the better copies of each...  

i also need to rotate a bunch 90 degrees but dread chasing the distortions or artifacts...  i should just buck up and get a great camera and be done with it.

I love your stuff.  although i've fallen behind looking through it.  

feel free to critique mine...  i need to get serious about improving...
