well, if some giant hand grabbed your face and lifted you up, at some point you'd have to just go with it...  LOL  

but yeah, maybe it's a little too passive.  

i was most concerned that i have the thumb and fore finger turned around and badly drawn, but it was a fast sketch.  

i had intended the body to be even more limp but think it's good enough for what it is.

and since he's a chess piece, his lot in life is to be picked up and moved around...  i was going to make him a king, but changed him to a pawn when i saw his expression.

i thought making him happy would be less understandable and weirder but will try doing that on a future sketch.

I wouldn't be able to stay still through the pain, I'd try to alleviate my own weight by holding on to his fingers while making a funny face of strain xP
was fun to imagine that.
being happy would be weird ahah

i will have to investigate them grabbing onto the fingers.  this morning i started a rough sketch of pieces grabbing each other.

and one is happy in it and isn't as weird as i thought...
