Description
This is the final scene render for the UAV project I have been working on. It's been photoshopped as best I can get it and I think it looks fine. It's a vehicle made up of a low number of facets, mimicing the already familiar stealth design. It's a UAV intended to stay on station a long time, too.
P.S. - The lighting is as right as I can get it. If you are tempted to say "ooh, could've been a little further north/south/east/west/whatever please accept the following with all sincerity... Get a f***ing life.

It's rare to find brand new fighter jets on DA -- especially quality ones like this. I think it's fantastic. Please do more, I love it.
And join my group, AviationArt. We'd love to have you.

This is the first time back on DA for years and to see this sort of comment is great! Cheers.

I dunno about UAVs, I fear we may become a bit too dependant on them and they may break down or malfunction at innopertune times.

Possibly. I guess for me the idea behind the picture was exploring angular surfaces and it was an idea that stuck in my head. Hope you like the picture.

Not bad, I think it could use a lot more work though. Your perspective, lighting and focus are really wacked

Nice.
At first look ages ago I didn't like this much. Now I see it in a different state of mind, and it's groovy.
The lighting is fine... could have been a little further north, though...
..As is the slight blur you have. The only thing I think may have helped is some grain. It's barely percecptable, but there's grain on the photo of the clouds and none of your models, so it stands out.

I never noticed the graininess of the clouds, but now that you mention it I could've added a little grain to the models to make them blend. I'll remember that for next time...

Nice nice job man! I like the lighting just fine, nice job dropping it on the clouds like that, and the upturn of the 2nd plane. Nice work

Thanks Joe, I really appreciate that. It's rendered twice, once with the clouds and once on white with less light for shadow, overlaid in PS, merged, added smoke trails, smudged, blurred and made opaque then merged, then adjusted the levels, brightness and contrast, layer duplicated, gaussian blurred, made really opague and lowered the fill and then re-merged....
Phew!

I like it, And in my opinion.. I'd say you have the lighting spot on, especially the plane in the background
