Very good use of color blending, texture is absolutely superb. The emotions this picture draws are really undefineable, the closest can get goes well with lolly's interpretation- it brings about nostalgia, to me. It seems like a picture you would pick up in your hands, that's been lying around in a suitcase or something, and you just remember the warm breeze that passed by you as you took the picture, the sun setting. Very good job, congratulations on the DD.

. . . .. me likey. It's like an old photo, kinda rough, with that tinge of yellowish orange you get with photos that are 40-50 years old (maybe shot shortly after WWII). It's got a sandy, gritty feel to it, like you can almost feel the sand blowing around the tired old fortress-like structures as it's driven by the hot dry winds that blow constantly, cutting into your skin as well as the rock that makes up the fortresses...

Excellent landscape.
I was going to write a lot of Monty Python related stuff here, but it probably wouldn't have been appropriate. It looks like the kind of place that might have the Holy Grail, though, or coconuts at the very least. Would Jerusalem have looked anything like this in the time of Jesus (or Brian)?
