OK, this was the best image of the three in the prvious collage. So, I decided to upload this image as a single.STS-127 Ascent to Orbit in July.

Wow, your shots are absolutely amazing. I do know this must be one of hundreds to come out so *perfect* but, boy do you have a way of getting the ENTIRE experience of a launch squeezed into a single frame.

Your too kind Rebekah, Thank you. I do believe there is a story in each launch image I take aside from the obvious "Shuttle Launch Photo". I look for ways to show people who may not get a chance to see a launch up close and in person, a different perspective on the Shuttle Launch experience. Even those that are at every launch don't always see everything.

Well, I have never seen one, but I'm now a little more intrigued: I have recently moved to 'Rocket City' - Huntsville, Alabama, and I'm learning more and more about what an amazing history these shuttles have.

There are just five more flights of the Shuttle scheduled before the end of the Shuttle program in September of 2010. With luck the U.S. will not have to wait too long for the next manned launch system to become a reality.
