Thank you! Believe or not I just pointed and shot the image as I didn't really have time that morning to really compose the shot. That's something I'm going to have to try and make time for when we get ready to send Endeavour out to California in the fall.

I am shooting with the Canon EOS 7D and the lens for this image was the Canon EF 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 I.S.

great shot this one really puts in perspective the size of everything and the weather clearly was on your side , in the personal level is like showing how huge the machines are yet the sky still larger .

My Critique:
The tail is crooked, the clouds are not symmetrical, and I think it's rotated about 0.05 degrees counterclockwise. (right side is lower)
and one of the port-a-potties probably needs to be cleaned...
Another great shot!
Mother Nature even gave you great light!

Yep, I think you hit that one right out of the park. I was wondering who would be able to call as they see it....LOL. Oh and both port-o-potties were putrid....again LOL!
Really though, thank you Ric, I appreciate both the critique and the compliment. It's not one of my stronger images from Monday morning.....just interesting.

I think it IS on of the stronger ART pieces from monday - it stands on it's own, and has unusual attributes (sani-cans aside) - I do wish it could have been the wide-angle "everything" shot - but that might have lost impact - as the stabilizers(?) on the tail add a nice framing-point. the purple/yellow color-pair works, and the lines and contrast/highlights all work well! for me - this one has impact beyond the "historical" power.

Thank you Ric, I do appreciate the expert eye on my work.
If I had had a little more time on Monday I would have concentrated on the finer details. As it was I was trying to set up the Monday event for NASA and take half decent images. However for Endeavour's Grand Finale, I will be getting some more interesting and unique images than what I have shown here. So you will have to be patient.....LOL!

You know me better than that - I have ZERO patience... (But thanks for rubbing it in so I'll be drooling/waiting for the next one!)

Anticipation....OK Carley knock it off.....
but really anticipation just makes the final outcome more exciting! I expect the endeavour's flyout to be late September or early October. I'll let you know when I have hard dates.
