Another Daisy x Spiderleg thing. xDNot sure why I chose this as my adopted couple in the first place, but they sure are fun to draw when I want to mess around with effects... o3o
I'm so obsessed with having multiply/overlay/luminosity bars at the top and bottom of drawings... I'unno, it feels like it completes them or something. |D
So Daisy is just staring into space and Spiderleg is trying to take a nap. This is her attempt to snuggle, and Spiderleg is just all 'lolnope' and falls asleep.
And I guess they're somewhere in ThunderClan territory. 8D
I tried to make Daisy look more evenly fluffy, but I think I failed on that part. o3o
I like how this turned out overall, especially the background.

xDD I'm not sure what I think of that pairing. I just love how they randomly became mates, though. Without ever being seen together, except for when they first met and Spiderleg tried to chase her off.

I really like how Spiderleg is sort of 'nodding off'. It really reminds me of what cats do irl, well done
Also, the background is amazing! I should totally learn from you in drawing backgrounds. As of now, I'm still abusing transparency in having no background whatsoever lol

Thank you! :3 Yeah, I was thinking of my own cat when I drew him. xD My cat usually has a lot of energy, but after he's run around a lot, he'll just lay like that and his head will keep falling until his face is thoroughly smushed into the ground... Not exactly sure how he breathes that way. o3o
Thanks again! 8D Psssshhhasdfskjdlf I'm usually terrible at backgrounds... |3 But SAI is amazing for drawing them! It's a lot easier for some reason, probably because a lot of SAI's brushes give off a painterly feel.
I like how your drawings have transparent backgrounds, though. owo It's simple and gives the drawing subject more importance and focus~

/is still using Adobe Photoshop 3, and now considering other tools

SAI's trial version is free, and it lasts for a month. o3o You can still use it after the trial expires, but you can't save what you draw. You can screenpic the finished image and crop it, though.
It costs about sixty dollars... 5250 yen, I think? |3
To make finished background-less drawings transparent on SAI, by the way, save them as .psd, open them in Photoshop (they should look transparent in Photoshop), then save it as .png. Just had a feeling you'd need to know th-- /shotdead

Than the free version would be inconvenient hmm... I'd like to keep the psd files if possible; prt sc-ing the pic would mean no more layers

Ah, no worries, I work with transparent layers all the time, but thanks for the heads up anyway XD Also, saving as gif works too, but png gives the clearest version.

Not sure of the actual price in USD, so I quoted the site in case you wanted to know exactly how much it costed. o3o
